With a lifetime interest in Birdlife, Mik Peryer has an extensive knowledge of the local birdlife in the Waikanae Area. Now retired, Mik offers the opportunity for you to get up close and personal with the wild birdlife of the Waikane Estuary Scientific Reserve.

As a resident of the area Mik is able to observe the local birds from his home perched on one of the highest points of the estuary.

Mik offers light refreshments as an addition to the tours at his home and the chance to take in the breathtaking scenery from this beautiful vantage point.
